How you can help

Citizens for a Safe Environment (CSE) is a volunteer organization. You can become involved in different ways. Active committees include:

  • Communications:
    • Newsletters and fact sheets
    • Website and listserves
    • Networking with other groups and communities
    • Facilitating at community events
  • Clerical:
    • Phoning, data entry, distributing newsletters and fact sheets
  • Research:
    • new technologies
    • Toronto's waste management policies
    • Other groups and communities

Once you're convinced that Advanced Thermal Technologies are not a good alternative for Toronto, here's how you can help stop Garbage Combustion in Toronto:

  1. Contact the city officially to let them know how you feel. How to get involved at City Hall
  2. Give your feedback on the following topics:
    • the status of the Task Force 2010 recommendations and implementation efforts;
    • the Environmental Assessment process the city will undertake

Send us an email at info@csetoronto.org for more information or to volunteer some time. We look forward to hearing from you.
