Paul Connett, PhD, on Zero Waste:

Dr. Connett is a Professor of Chemistry at New York State's St. Lawrence University. Three of his areas of interest, research and expertise include:

  • dioxins
  • incinerations
  • waste management

When Dr. Connett is not teaching he travels world-wide informing and empowering individuals so they can make responsible choices on waste management practices that will protect the health of their communities. Dr. Connett takes complex chemistry and waste management principles out of the "hard-to-learn and boring" category and puts them into the "fun-to-learn, interesting and entertaining category."

On May 21, 2002 Dr. Connett spoke to Toronto residents on Zero Waste: An Agenda for the 21st Century. Visit The Grassroots Recycling Site for notes from a previous talk by Dr. Connett.
